If you’re away on business, you’ll be covered by our free business travel insurance. Don’t forget, if you are going to be out of your home country for more than two weeks at a time or if you are travelling to an area of unrest then you need to tell the International Compensation and Benefits team via email at hreucompbenefits@hertz.com before you travel.

The medical and professional service teams are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, all over the world. They can arrange medical care or offer other assistance you need.

When you call, you’ll need to quote the Hertz policy number 11BCPS000300.

You can also use this policy number to log into www.internationalsos.com, where you can:

• Print out a handy wallet-sized card with the contact details you’ll need.
• Check for medical and security information for your destination.
• Log personal details about your medical history and/or emergency contact details so these are available to International SOS in case of an emergency.
• Sign up for worldwide security and medical email alerts.

You can also call International SOS for advice before you travel, from its doctors, nurses and security experts.

To download the International SOS app, simply open your phone’s browser and go to app.internationalsos.com. Once downloaded, enter your membership number, 11BCPS000300, to log in. The app will give you on-the-go access to International SOS information and one-click-dialling to the nearest assistance centre.

The dedicated personal accident and business travel claim number is open between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding UK Bank Holidays. You will need to quote policy number PA04280896 together with your personal information and details about the incident.
